SWARD Landscaping Terms of Service

SWARD Landscaping – Terms of Service


1. Estimates & Scope of Work

All services are performed according to the written estimate approved by the client. Any changes or additions must be documented and may incur additional charges.


Clients must notify SWARD Landscaping of any concerns regarding completed work within 48 hours of service so the property can be inspected promptly. Concerns reported after this period may not be eligible for correction or review due to the inability to verify property conditions.


If the client alters, repairs, or modifies the property after service and before SWARD Landscaping has had the opportunity to inspect a reported concern, SWARD Landscaping cannot verify the original condition and may decline corrective service.
 

2. Payment Terms

• Lawn service: Monthly auto-pay required.
• Installation projects: 50% Deposit required prior to scheduling.
• Final payment due upon completion unless otherwise agreed.
• Late payments subject to 10% late fee

• All sales are final


3. Scheduling

Service dates are approximate and may shift due to weather, material delays, or operational needs.


4. Site Access

Clients must ensure:
• Clear access to property
• Pets secured
• Sprinklers turned off on service day

• Failure to provide access may result in skipped service without credit.


5. Lawn Service Terms

• Weekly service only (March–November).
• 30-day written cancellation notice required.
• Missed services due to client interference are NOT credited.


Lawn services such as power raking, seeding, fertilization, and aeration may take several weeks or months to show visible improvement depending on soil conditions, watering practices, and seasonal timing. Results cannot be guaranteed.


6. Plant & Material Warranty

• 1-year plant warranty only if installed and maintained according to our recommendations.
• No warranty for improper watering, neglect, or acts of nature.


7. Irrigation

SWARD Landscaping is not responsible for damage to underground utilities, irrigation lines, or sprinkler components that are not clearly visible or disclosed prior to service.
 

8. Property Damage

SWARD Landscaping carries insurance and will address legitimate damage claims resulting from negligence. Claims must be reported within 48 hours.


9. Weather Delays

Utah weather may affect scheduling. Safety and quality standards take priority.


10. Cancellations

Deposits on installation projects are non-refundable once materials are ordered.


11. Liability

We are not liable for:
• Hidden property defects
• Pre-existing conditions
• Underground lines not marked
• Drainage issues not part of project scope


12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the State of Utah.
